Home sweet home!
It is fun to be on journey but always nice to return.
I am still in Oslo, this town - small and big at the same time.

The new Opera house is fantastic.
So white and the sun glittering in the water.

It feels as a summer paradise, people take a break and lay down .

Inside - a peaceful and a spiritual feeling.

"The other wall" made by Olafur Eliasson (my brother works in his studio, and I always want to tell it because I am so proud over him).

"
Foundation stone", Linus Elmes and Ludvig Löfgren

Another place - in these stairs my darling is walking up and down every day.

After work I see him at Pascal, drinking coffee and talk.
And tomorrow I go back to Uppsala and everyday life...

A friend won a competition and asked if I wanted to follow

It was the biggest cruisership in the world

We got an elegant suite with balcony

T
he view was wonderful

Everything - food, wine, drinks and performance - everything was included in the prize

The boat was decorated with art
(Scream - Ole Lislerud, screenprint on porcelain)

Very full after this crazy experience I think on the difference between people, some serve and others are served

I am going to Oslo for some holiday, perhaps I have possibility to take a relaxing bath like these ladies… Sugar or salt, Spoons in porcelaine.

Lattemugs, now they are done, this is the way they turned out with white glaze.

More decorations to choose on…

It is really spring here today – lovely!
Have a nice weekend.

I have full control over my production since I work in a small scale context. I can test different methods and seak different solutions . It is often the work in itself that gives the inspiration and produces new ideas for making patterns and shapes. I have got a camera tripod and I uses it diligently. Now it is easy to document various moments in my ceramics life. I want to show the long process from sketch to a completed product.

Before the first burning I make the decor. It is a restful and creative step and because I paint everything by hand it always arises variations.

Now, I see that the cheeks became too big and red, not so good. Tomorrow, I will paint smaller red dots in the middle of the cheek instead…

Aktiv helg...
Först "Nordiska trädgårdar", mässa i Älvsjö

Malin Westberg - växthus, pelargoner och textil...

Pia Ulfendahl - frökapslar och drejade "bulber"

Elisabet Berg - markplatta i gjutjärn

Sen vidare till Nyckelviksskolans vårutställning...

Lisa Ast'en - vikta papperstranor

Angelica Edin - virkad pytonorm

Fideli Sundqvist - pappersdockor

Därefter vidare till Waldemarsudde...

Herta Hillfon - Minnenas Vind

I have had a very intensive weekend. First “garden trade fair”, then “pupil exhibition” and finally an exhibition by Herta Hillfon - the rebel of clay.
At Waldemarsudde (Stockholm) there is a collection on her best handmade big clay sculptures. It is fantastic and powerful to see.

Black mugs - modern people

I visited my friend Kajsa yesterday and we drank coffee and spoke and looked on her funny things… She has that ability, that sight that can distinguish… Fancy goods are of course a difficult genre but wonderful and exquisite if the character only has that "specific touch”. I might take some of her things to my home. Today I will start the idea of displaying ”small friends that give you a smile” and this thing goes on so long there are participants… (I will show some of this every week)

My own factory 2
