The most good-looking and comfortable sweaters I know!

I will go to Dublin this week and it takes time to pack the suitcase and I intend that I am very fond of my sweaters!!!!!!!!! I always feel nice and” correct” dressed when I have some of these. Soft body close in a material that are both warm and airy! The pattern are well thought-out and the range of colour is so beautiful. My friend Christina Edursdotter is the designer and she works from her studio on a farm in Kinna (close to Göteborg). See her homepage and enjoy it…

I have made ceramic eggs in many years. The original shape and the possibility to vary the decoration and the expression are inspirating. The egg creates many thoughts… secrets, memories of childhood and magic…

What is your association…?

Happy Easter!

My own stamps made by clay creates this structures and surfaces.

Flirting

This ceramic pictures are burned in raku, than I painted the faces with acryl colour. I have produced several similar images but I think they turned a bit different with this green finish.

I have written on these previously and now I am doing it once again (I really love them).

Old well-made lace cloths really affect and touch me. Think about all these women who put so much work and time into them, so much concentration ...

Often they are placed under some objects ...

Later thrown away or forgotten ...

I became very inspired of Andrea Tachezys post yesterday. Intended on my own youngest daughter's small clay animals that she give me some years ago. It lies, rests and calm on a hand crochet lace (I collect on these lace cloth.)
Kajsa Ullmans expressions are so wonderful, I love the soft colours and the ideas are sow worked through performed. The small buttons and lace makes that the whole becomes really good. See this tea pot-warmer both as Alice (in wonderland) and the rabbit.

Anna-Karin Sjöblom works with” vaxbatik” and creates unique fabrics. Look at these chairs cover, which structure and colour feeling .

Many others have produced both teapots, cups, cake-dishes and trays and it is very nice to do a small exhibition like this together in "Öster om ån".

Afternoon tea

I am a member in the handicraft cooperative " Öster om ån" in Uppsala and we have a shop and gallery together. On Saturday, it is opening for our common exhibition” afternoon tea” and I have made this new tea set that I call ” spring flowers”.

Tea cups with decorations ” boy and girl friends”

Workplace

Peace and quiet and about creating your own reality.

One is still doing, it is not quite completed yet, one has to wait and see what it becomes … later... That one ”forgets oneself” and disappears in the picture or the clay. “Wishing-time” for children, young people and adults.

Maria tags me” show your workplace”, normally I works in my ceramic studio but I have still pause and tinkers most with papers, sow here untidy is it then!
